My comment has to do with the individual from Hartford. The reason the interviewer asked you questions about the company is to see if you took the time to look at the website. It also lets the interviewer know you have done your homework and are truly interested in working for the company. I ask applicants if they have checked out our company website fairly early in the interview. More times than not the applicants have. I quiz all the applicants later in the interview with one or two basic questions such as "when was the company formed" and "what area of law does our firm practice". Many times they know the answer to one of the questions but can tell me two or three other items on our website, such as cases the firm handled before the U.S. Supreme Court.
