• Learn about the business, department and associated processes and tools
• Process supplier invoice and enter information into appropriate database templates
• Create and maintain contract information within the database for designated geographical assignment
• Learn and understand standardized analytical resources for the Operations Team (half hourly, hourly, daily or monthly)
• Validate third party supplier invoices (including utility charges on consolidated invoices) with assigned geographic or set energy market area or by assigned client
• Validate and elevate (when necessary) exceptions generated by Schneider’s proprietary statistical tests
• Aggressively resolve discrepancies with suppliers and/or utilities due to incorrect billing
• Clearly and effectively communicate (verbal and written form in the English language), Schneider Electric’s expertise to internal and external clients, utilities and suppliers
• Adhere to Schneider Electric analysis processes
• Meet Schneider Electric client-specific data needs (hard copy files and database)
• Meet Schneider’s work-flow tracking needs
• Enhance/develop efficient processes and provide reports related to energy billing and procurement activities
• Provide functional support for the Operations team

• High commitment to company vision and values
• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 1+ year experience preferred; must demonstrate quantitative and analytical skills, including ability to read and understand energy contracts, independently obtain resolution on billing discrepancies, and clearly and effectively communicate pertinent information to the appropriate parties in the English language in written and verbal form
• Inquisitive – willing to dig in to find answers to problems
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities; self-motivated
• Proficient in computer technology and Microsoft Office Products, in particular Excel
• Provide excellent customer service internally and externally
• Work well on teams, within and outside of function
