Job Summary
- This role is responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models that drive innovation and business value. The role works closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for utilizing machine learning techniques, gathers and preprocesses data, designs and trains models, and integrates them into production systems. The role plays a pivotal role in transforming data into actionable insights and intelligent solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develops and programs integrated software solutions, especially in support of the development, deployment and life cycle of machine learning models.
- Selects appropriate machine learning algorithms and techniques for specific tasks, such as classification, regression, clustering, or recommendation.
- Implements data pipelines to efficiently preprocess and transform machine learning data for training and inference.
- Performs feature engineering to extract relevant information from raw data, improving model performance.
- Explores, preprocesses, and analyzes data to ensure its quality, relevance, and suitability for model development.
- Lays down procedures for extensive data analysis, model development, and their practical implementations.
- Leads the integration of machine learning architecture into platforms and products for production.
- Collaborates with other researchers and engineers to develop experiments, prototypes, and concepts.
- Translates intricate business problems into actionable machine learning challenges.
Education & Experience Recommended
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
- Typically has 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in computer programming languages, machine learning, algorithms, statistical methods, or a related field or an advanced degree with little or no work experience.
