FIFA27 established as the Local FIFA Subsidiary in Brazil, to work together with FIFA HQ in Zurich and globally, to deliver the biggest women’s sporting event in the world, the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027™ (“FWWC2027”).
THE POSITION
The Event Experiences Marketing Manager (FFF) supports and implements all strategic deliverables prescribed by the Experiential Marketing Manager (FFF) based in Zurich. This includes developing, supporting, and delivering innovative and best-in-class FFF deliverables and other experiential marketing activations that might be developed. The core deliverable is to lead the strategic and commercial development and positioning of the FIFA Fan Festival™ across Host Cities of the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027, focusing on the commercial, promotional, brand, entertainment, and partner and stakeholder integrations. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, the manager will help shape the narrative, drive partner and government integration, and develop innovative fan engagement in line with FIFA’s strategic objectives from a local perspective.
This role and team will work in tandem with the Special Events team at FIFA27, who hold accountabilities for all operational elements of the FFF. However, on a day‑to‑day basis, the Strategy and Operations teams will operate and be perceived as one unified team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
FIFA Fan Festival™ FWWC2027 - Commercial & Strategy
Support the development and implementation of the FIFA Fan Festival™ commercial and strategic framework.
Support communications and promotional planning across Host Cities.
Liaise with commercial and media partners (alongside the local Commercial and Media partnership teams) to support project alignment and approvals.
Prepare workshop planning, presentations, and strategic alignment sessions.
Maintain all SharePoint documentation and ensure excellent level of project document management
Lead on local conversations and meetings while delivering detailed meetings and project updates including meeting minutes and communications for reporting back to the team in Zurich.
Support budget tracking, procurement processes, and relevant strategic documentation.
Support local issue resolution and escalation processes, ensuring key decisions, risks and dependencies are clearly communicated to the Zurich team.
Support the review of plans and materials to ensure alignment with FIFA commercial rights, partner obligations, and clean site principles.
Provide local market insights and stakeholder contexts to support strategic decision making, planning, and delivery when needed.
FIFA Fan Festival™ FWWC2027 - Host City Coordination
Support Host Cities throughout all strategy and commercial processes.
Act as a key point of contact for Host Cities at local level and any other local stakeholders.
Coordinate requests, tracking, review and adaptation of Host City deliverables, including promotional copy, brand assets, content inputs and local information.
Review and adapt Host City content, copy and materials to ensure consistency with FIFA tone, messaging, objectives and standards.
Develop a strong understanding of the FWWC27 brand manual and ensure Host City and stakeholder materials are reviewed in line with FIFA brand requirements.
Coordinate feedback, brand approvals, and final sign-off with relevant internal FIFA teams. Or communicate with FIFA Zurich where necessary.
Support the local Special Events team to ensure FIFA Fan Festival™ strategic, commercial, promotional and brand requirements are understood and integrated into Host City planning and delivery.
Support the coordination of content capture
Delivery of local reporting inputs and post event documentation for FIFA27 and Host Cities and relevant stakeholders. Experiential Projects
Act as project manager for selected experiential marketing projects as required.
Coordinate project planning, timelines, deliverables, stakeholder alignment, and execution.
Support RFP processes, agency evaluation, supplier onboarding, and procurement processes when required.
Manage day-to-day coordination with agencies and suppliers, ensuring clear briefs, timelines, feedback rounds, and delivery expectations.
Maintain all project documentation, trackers, meeting notes, action lists, and approval records.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and in line with FIFA standards and identify, track and communicate key project risks, dependencies, decisions and escalation points.
Support post-project reporting, learnings and evaluation, including documentation of outcomes, performance and recommendations.
YOUR PROFILE
Experience in marketing, event management, or relevant client account management
Proven relevant experience in similar position or another relevant role
Experience working in a multi-national, multi-cultural, and multi-stakeholder environment
Appreciation and understanding or sport and the role it plays in marketing, fan engagement and popular culture
University degree in a marketing discipline, or business administration with major in a relevant field (desired)
Proficient in Office 365
Excellent knowledge of MS Teams, SharePoint/One Drive, Monday.com
Flexible, adaptable, proactive, attention to detail, and constantly striving for excellence

Fluent in English and Portuguese
