The Opportunity

We're seeking an International Trade & Logistics Manager for Brazil to join Daniel's team. This role offers the chance to:

• Support Fonroche Lighting's growth strategy in Brazil through the management and optimization of the logistic operations.

• Structure, secure and optimize Fonroche Lighting's international trade and operational activities in Brazil and future evolution across LATAM, while improving competitiveness through logistics optimization, customs compliance, supplier development and foreign trade strategies.

Key Responsabilites:

1️⃣International Transportation & Trade Operations Management

• Supervise and secure the Group's international import and export operations.

• Negotiate contracts and service agreements with logistics partners: Manage freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers, and logistics service providers.

• Ensure operational excellence: Optimize transportation lead times, service levels, and logistics costs.

• Continuous Improvement: Standardize and improve operational reliability, implementing best practices and digitalization.

• Competitiveness Enhancement : Conduct foreign trade and market studies to identify opportunities for logistics, customs, and fiscal optimization.

2️⃣ Customs Expertise & Regulatory Compliance

• Ensure customs and regulatory compliance.

• Supervise Incoterms management, customs classifications, and import/export documentation.

• Monitor regulatory developments and mitigate customs-related risks.

• Support internal teams on trade compliance best practices and procedures.

• Analyze trade agreements, tariff structures, and customs regimes to improve Fonroche Lighting's competitiveness.

• Evaluate import, export, local assembly, and industrial footprint scenarios to optimize total landed costs.

• Recommend strategies to reduce duties, logistics costs, and regulatory impacts while enhancing market competitiveness.

3️⃣ Local Industrial Development & Supplier Qualification

• Identify, assess, and qualify local manufacturers and component suppliers.

• Develop regional sourcing opportunities to reduce Fonroche Lighting product manufacturing costs.

• Coordinate supplier qualification, audits, and validation processes with Procurement, Quality, and Engineering teams.

• Support localization initiatives aimed at increasing competitiveness, reducing lead times, and strengthening supply chain resilience.

What you can bring to us

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration or related field.

• 5+ years of relevant experience managing International Transportation and Trade Operations in the B2B idustry.

• Strong expertise in international transportation and logistics

• Advanced knowledge of customs regulations, Incoterms and trade compliance

• Supplier qualification and industrial sourcing experience

• Cost control, KPI monitoring and performance management

• Process standardization and continuous improvement

• Portuguese and English required

• Spanish and/or French desirable

Onboarding for the position will be through our customized internal program. You will be supported in your role for about 2 weeks through three key stages:

• Technical discovery of the products and processes,
