University degree with a strong academic record; master’s in computer science, applied statistics, mathematics, artificial intelligence, or related field preferred

2+ years of experience applying machine learning and data mining techniques to large, real-world datasets

Strong background in computer science, engineering, statistics, mathematics, physics, or similar

Ability to lead and drive model development independently, balancing quality and deadlines

Proven track record in prototyping and applying advanced analytical and statistical methods

Proficiency in Python and at least one additional language (e.g., R, Scala, SQL)

Experience working with relational databases (SQL) and large datasets

Experience in the real-world application of machine learning methods and algorithms

Business level language fluency, both verbally and in writing, in English and Portuguese
