Hello I’m a 62 male individual. I’m looking for a kitchen job since I was a Chef before I started working in Security. I went for a job interview yesterday and the interviewer was constantly asking questions about my stamina. I felt that my age was taken away from the experience I have. (25-30 years of experience). Sometimes I feel like I’m more qualified than the the interviewer. Maybe afraid that I might take their job.

Got fired today and this the 2nd most upset I’ve been in my life

I got laid off and my relationship ended in the same week. I haven’t experienced this level of anxiety, stress, and pain in a very long time. I can’t sleep, or eat. My friends and family have been very supportive but it’s so hard to each day

This might have been shared before, but I wasn't seeing it. I am just over a month into my job hunt after being laid off. I am the only one who can work as my kids are in school and my wife is dealing with cancer. So, my question to the group. How do you stay positive when you are getting rejection emails? Fortunately, I have an interview coming up, but I have had a ton of job rejections with no interview.

Is that the case? Should I switch to cashier and see if I get better resultss in job interviews because of this? What do you guys think? 🤔
