Is anyone noticing more bugs across the web and in software in general? Our team’s been seeing bugs across cloudflare, GitHub UI (we’ve been seeing the pink unicorn a lot), VS Code randomly breaking. As more teams adopt AI, is this this the norm? Surely this can’t be sustainable long term.

Github has been a trash fire for a while now. Ghostty and Zig are two projects I can immediately think of that have left in recent times. This isn't sustainable but it will be the way until enough people stop accepting slop as the cost of doing business.
This is what you get when you allow software developers with only three years experience to be considered "senior". It is like referring to a military officer with 3 years experience as "general" or "admiral" - it screams with disrespect for the profession. What is the politically correct term for dissing an entire profession? "thought-impared"?
Oh and fundamentally... as long as leadership sees engineering and maintenance as a cost centre they're going to try and reduce costs as much as possible there. They'll try and minimise the work done in those areas entirely.
