I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at ABB (Bengaluru) in Jan 2015
Interview
There were two rounds of interview. Both telephonic. Questions on OOPS concepts and .Net. Since it was an interview for Intern position not too much stress was given on the minute details. Just the basic concepts should be clear.
Overall it was a nice experience and some questions were unexpected.

I sent my cv through a job ad and I've been called back by randstad. They told me I was chosen for an assessment in ABB. I had to pass an online english test which it was not difficult at all, after that I attended this assessment, which I can say was not technical at all. Just motivational and psicological questions and a team work task

I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at ABB (Hartford, CT) in Apr 2011
Interview
I went thru two rounds of interviews. First one was HR and second one was technical. The HR interview was pretty basic and did not seem different from what most other companies do. The technical round was interesting and they asked me about my work on robotics and focused a lot more on the technical aspect than just an overview.
