In my experience, a standard interview process acts as a multi-stage validation of a candidate’s skills, personality, and potential. It typically begins with a Recruiter Screen to align on basics like salary and role expectations.
If there’s a match, it moves into Technical Assessments, which might involve live coding, a case study, or a deep dive into previous projects to prove core competency. This is followed by Behavioral Rounds with the hiring manager, where the focus shifts to 'how' I work—using the STAR method to demonstrate problem-solving and teamwork.
Finally, there is often a Stakeholder or Culture Round to ensure alignment with the company’s long-term values, concluding with a formal offer and reference checks."
