Interview
I was told that the COO + Director wanted a 30 min informal chat - never really trust that description and was spot on here. I suspect the COO did not like Consultants from the attitude so why interview. The worst candidate experience of my professional career not least due to the fact that I was basically rejected at the end of the 30 min informal chat with a smart mouth remark and had to chase for a formal rejection - only chased as I wanted to prove a point! This is 2020 most organisations have formal processes and procedures in place for recruitment.

Tell me about Salesforce - this is 'supposed' to be a 30 min informal chat, Salesforce is an extensive product range so what exactly was the reason for the question as would not say if it was currently being used or a new implementation.

Was a relaxing telephone interview, in which the interviewer made me feel very comfortable asking a broad range of questions not just about the role, but also wanting to know more about you as a person.

Interview
The interview process was very quick and efficient, being contacted within two weeks of the closing date, I had an initial telephone interview arranged, one week later a video interview and a final group meeting another week later.
The process was very friendly, AXA provided an interview preparation pack that details what you can expect from the interview ahead. The HR contacts, hiring manager and team were relaxed, but professional and the process was enjoyable.
The process end to end was about 1 month.
