I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Aerotek
Interview
Was a recent college graduate referred to the company by a friend. An internal recruiter contacted me and phone screened me twice. Then I interviewed in person twice. Once with a panel of managers, and the next time with the director of the branch. Then I participated in a half-day where I spent 4 hours at the office following recruiters around. The half-day was not a true depiction of the job because they gloss over the work they do. The managers sit with the recruiters in the office and it is a wide-open space. Recruiters cannot freely talk because the managers hear everything. Seems like a micro-managed environment, also very noisy.
The interview process was quick. Lasting around 15 minutes. There are several interviews that you will go through. They will do an initial interview with the director. Then you will get scheduled for a follow up. This is where you meet the other recruiters and account managers. They will walk you around the office and have you shadow some of the recruiters.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What motivates you?
What’s your “why”?
Are you a go-getter?
Average difficulty covering standard interview questions. Phone screen followed by an in-person interview. Phone screen was received quickly after resume submission; in-person was with their head recruiter and then followed by one with their manager.
Phone screening call with the recruiter giving me information about the job, then another virtual call interview more in depth to ask me more questions. The final interview is in person in their office.
