I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Aerotek (Phoenix, AZ) in Apr 2015
Interview
Several recruiter phone screenings, and one in-person recruiter interview at office. I have applied online for various customer service, team lead, and training positions, and I have never made it past the in-person process, despite having success interviewing with other competing staffing agencies such as Randstad. Honestly, I find the recruiters at Aerotek very young and inexperienced. My first impression is that they are just trying to meet a quota of candidate calls and move on. Also, I had one experience when I placed a follow up call to my recruiter, I found out he had left the company. I spoke with the receptionist, who took my all of my information again, and she promised the replacement recruiter would contact me. This never happened, even though I called twice more and left a voicemail asking someone to contact me.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Very generic questions based solely on job criteria, including: what hours are you available to work, what is your pay range, what is your maximum commute time, do you have reliable transportation, etc. No behavioral type HR questions at all (e.g. tell me about a difficult customer, how you handled disagreement with a supervisor).
