Interview
Just a casual phone interview. Nothing too serious, but definitely serious enough to decide if your good enough for the next step. Make sure you sound excited and interested in working for them. Don't come off too casual and talk to them like a friend.

Interview
The interview process was four steps and very organized. I applied for the job and was contacted three days later for an initial phone screen and to set up the phone interview. The phone interview was about 45 minutes long and focused a lot on the role, your career goals, and Aerotek. The recruiter provided me with many resources about the company and the role which were helpful.
Next, I was brought in to an in person interview which took about one hour. This was in depth about my experience and goals. They were very transparent about the negative aspects of this job (hours are 7:30am-6pm everyday, 50-70 phone calls a day, dealing with unreliable people) and only want people who are willing to go through after knowing this.
After the in person, I scheduled a half day shadow where I sat down with three recruiters and went over their systems, got to ask questions, and really see what it is like in the office and with the culture.
Overall, Aerotek is looking for hard working people who are worth the investment of bringing on someone. They are looking for applicants who have "thick-skin" and are competitive. Also, they want people who are looking for something long term and want you to stay for a minimum of a year in the recruiter role. Most questions are in STAR format.

Interview
I was asked to come in by a current recruiter who felt I might make a good recruiter myself. I spoke with 3 separate employees regarding their experience, and they had positive feedback about working there. Once I had enough interviews in person, on the hone, and via Skype, they scheduled me to meet with the manager of the office. He was rude, spoke about himself, and criticized me after answering each of his questions correctly with poise. I was so shocked by this experience that I decided I no longer wanted to interview there.
