It was a very formal interview, but what threw me off was how uncomfortable it was right from the beginning. I had a 9am FaceTime interview, and as soon as I answered the call, the Senior Recruiter immediately went right into the interview without saying "hello" or "good morning" or even a "nice to meet you". She just wasn't very personable, and it make me feel very awkward throughout the interview.

Question 1
Tell me about a time that was challenging for you and how you handled it.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Aerotek (Columbus, OH) in Aug 2016
Interview
There will be an initial 30 minute phone interview with an internal recruiter. After that, they will bring you in to the office you are applying to for a 30 minute face to face interview. If you pass that interview, the next step is a face to face half day that will run from about 8am-noon. You will meet everyone in the office during the half day to see if it is a good fit for you and vice versa.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Aerotek (Golden Valley, MN) in May 2018
Interview
1 phone screen, then 1 phone interview, then a 1-hour in person interview (which I had to leave work 3 hours early for) The whole process was pretty slow, and after getting grilled about why I wanted to leave my current employer, they went with another candidate who was "more positive". I can understand why I would seem negative when the majority of the time was spent asking questions about why I wanted to leave my old jobs.
