I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AgileEngine (Pune) in May 2024
Interview
The interview process took a week, during which HR initially shared the job area with me. I agreed and told her to proceed. She then sent me an interview invitation, which was updated, canceled, and rescheduled multiple times. When I finally joined the interview, there were two candidates scheduled at the same time due to miscommunication by HR and the team.
I mentioned that my interview had been canceled three times, and one of the panelists offered to conduct the interview after the current one, but only for half an hour instead of the scheduled one hour. When the panelist finally interviewed me, it felt like a formality. He asked only three questions: my introduction, details about my project, and my relevant experience. He then asked a very basic question about automation. The interview lasted only 20 minutes, far less than the rescheduled half hour.
When I questioned the panelist about the short duration, he responded that it was his way of conducting interviews. I felt the interview was purely a formality and knew it wouldn't lead to a positive outcome. As expected, I received a rejection message. I informed HR about the unfairness, pointing out that the interview didn't even last the full half hour.
Two to three days later, HR called and offered me another round of interviews with a different panel, but I declined due to their unprofessional behavior.
