Had hackerrank, and then phone interview. Phone interview asked about code I wrote for the hackerrank challenge, but I had not seen the code for almost a month, so I felt unprepared. Interviewer was hard to hear, spoke in broken English
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Airbnb in Nov 2017
Interview
I applied and was given a link to complete a coding challenge. Then I was scheduled for two back-to-back online technical interviews. Then I was given a "cross functional" (cultural fit) interview, which is just a flurry of personal "describe a time / thing" sort of questions.
The technical questions were fine, although one interviewer wasn't very friendly. I was led to believe that the cross-functional interview would be more about why I wanted to work at Airbnb, and I found the one-way string of questions to be fairly uncomfortable.

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Airbnb (San Francisco, CA) in Oct 2016
Interview
First, there is one technical phone screen. Then, there are three technical Skype interviews, in my case two were for mobile and one was general. Finally, there is one cross-functional interview. All in all, it was a fantastic interview process. My recruiter was very attentive throughout the entire process and the interviewers were great.
