Applied to the Warsaw office. Had an interview with the hiring manager and team lead. They questioned my relevant experience, which went fine. Then they asked for my salary. I gave a number, which they said was too high. However it’s a very reasonable amount for the market. They started pushing on how much I was willing to discount myself. 10%? 15%? When I asked how much they actually offer, they were offended and said they couldn’t tell me. Yet I was expected to show the back of my tongue. When I politely said that the amount I requested is actually the norm for even a call center, they got quite sour and proceeded to end the interview. An incredibly unprofessional attitude. About a week later, I just got a generic rejection email. The interview left a bitter taste and I wouldn’t work for this company anymore.
