I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Chicago, IL) in Sep 2016
Interview
I was first given a link to a personality and situational analysis. Then after passing that stage, I received an email to interview with them in Chicago. While in Chicago, the interviewers were rude, never made any effort to make us comfortable, just seated us in reception and didn't say anything to us until they absolutely had to. During the interview, the interviewer intentionally contradicted all of my answers and I was convinced that I wouldn't receive an offer but it seems like they need warm bodies for the position, honestly. The HR recruiters who were in the waiting area were talking about someone else behind their back, no part of it seemed like a place I would be happy.
Star Method and Leadership Principles. Just study these from the materials they give you, and form a story for each principle, and when they ask questions, you can see which principle they are asking about.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you faced a conflict or disagreement at work and how did you handle it?"
Multiple online tests after application, followed by a virtual interview with various staff. Staff did not want to be on camera and did not have many good things to say about working there.
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
