I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Palo Alto, CA) in Mar 2019
Interview
One of the best Interview process I have experienced in Industry. Recruiter contacted me and give me brief about Role and scheduled 1st Telephonic round which went really nice. Interview was very nice and polite. I felt it was more kind of conversation instead interview. It was scheduled for 1hr but talked almost for 1 and half hr. We discussed wide range of technology specially in area of Big Data, NoSQL, Database Performance and some Data Modeling etc. ( I interviewed for SA specialized in BigData and analytics ).
All the interviewers were really nice. But before On-site Recruiter called me couple of times and asked me about my preparation and provided me guidance. I was really amazed to receive call from Hiring manager and he also provided very valuable tips.
On-site ( Palo Alto ) was well organized. My presentation went really well. I really like all the people who interviewed me. They were very fascinate about AWS and their work. I felt very positive wive from all of them.
Process of really quick and I received offer just in 2 days.

Interview
Although I didn't pass the interview, I had a positive overall experience. The interview process was well organized, and the instructions were clear and informative. I appreciated the transparency throughout the process, which helped me prepare effectively for the interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. How do you engage customers and build customer relationships?
2. What do you think about AI? Do you use AI in your work?
3. Can you explain a case in which you declined a customer's request?
Few rounds of interview, mixed with behavioral and technical questions to showcase you knowledge of building system on aws. They also asked gen ai questions on how you would create these systems
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2026
Interview
You do 4 back to back interview in 1 day. It was exhausting. Besides that really appreciated the recruiter giving out interview prep before it takes place. The good thing is there is no coding round.
