Phone/Video Interviews
This usually involves one or two rounds of interviews with a hiring manager or recruiter, focusing on skills, experience, and alignment with Amazon’s leadership principles. Behavioral questions like “Tell me about a time when…” are common, as Amazon values STAR (Situation, Task, Action, Result) responses.
Technical roles might include live coding exercises or problem-solving tasks.
Versant was the first round, from what I remember. Then it was a face to face round of interview with a senior manager. He asked about previous retail experiences, questions about how to keep a customer happy and retian the customer.

fairly easy. phone then hiring manager. took a few weeks to hear back and didn’t get the job unfortunately. i will keep trying! amazon is a great company and i think i just need a bit more experience.
