I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Estocolmo, ) in Jan 2023
Interview
Was approached by Amazon's recruiter. After clearing initial interviews, went to technical deep dive. The interviewer was too junior to interview me. Asked questions about my profile. On explaining, gave the impression that they understood very well. Turns out was faking it, sent a rejection right after the call with review nothing to do with what we discussed. Simply refused the next time Amazon contacted me.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Amazon (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
I had my interview with an unrelated person to data science. He had some knowledge about sql and machine learning and asked very simple questions which I answered. The interviewer looked visibly irritated every time I got the answers right. He was obviously BIASed and only did the interview because he had to. Terrible experience is to put it politely. Karma got them and they laid off many a few month afterwards.
