The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Amazon (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2022
Interview
Applied for an SA role for Amazon alexa. Was later told they actually needed an SA role for Amazon Pay and not Alexa, so the role switched to that.
Interviewed with an SA who asked me STAR questions (you can find them anywhere on the internet). I “passed” and was then provided a technical take home assignment. I was told if I passed that, I would be sent to a virtual on site interview or given another interview if there were questions about my take home assignment. The take home assignment was fairly straight forward and I thought I did it correctly.
I ended up getting ghosted by the recruiter, and saw my application was rejected on the Amazon website. Recruiter later followed up saying they moved on with other applicants and couldn’t provide feedback on why I got rejected. Interviewing with them was a giant waste of time.
