I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Avanade in Nov 2008
Interview
I had initiated discussions directly contacting the MD. We had a throrough discussion about direction, strategy and what to do. I made a suggestion of my terms, but they could not move. I sensed difficulties in decision making and setting aspiration to actually grow te business. Later we had few discussion as we occasionally met. Than after two years from starting this talk, they contacted me and told that now would be a right time to make move. I had a two person interview over Live meeting, as I was at that time located in an other country. The interview was basic, no tough questions nor temtptations to challenge. I also felt that they were uncomfortable to do this over video, though they stated that company uses Live meeting as everyday tool. Nothing happended within two months, I contacted twice during that tive. After 3 months of the interview I was called and told that they had chosen another and I was second. The position had changed somewhat during the process. Overall not highly professional sequence and I would have liked to have a discussion over other possible positions. This lead to dead end, though it could have been otherwise. Takes some time for me to bother again. Adiiotional mention was that the process was initiated and I was recommended by a Microsoft executive.
I applied online. I interviewed at Avanade (Seattle, WA)
Interview
Consisted of a phone screen, followed by two behavioral interviews. Everyone I talked to was extremely genuine and it seemed more like an airport test rather than a technical interview.

Interview
