I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at BASF in Nov 2012
Interview
1) Met with recruiters on campus to give resume
2) First round of interview, 1:1 on campus about 30-45 minutes; situational and technical questions
3) Second (final round) interview; overnight in hotel with 6-8 other candidates; multiple 30 minute interviews
Though the interview questions were more difficult, the overall process was very organized and professional, and recruiters / BASF employees worked to give timely responses.
