I had two technical interview rounds. The first round went really well, and the interviewer was professional and engaging. However, the second round felt rushed, as the interviewer skipped introductions and immediately started asking questions. Despite this, I cleared the second round and advanced to the final interview with the hiring manager. Unfortunately, the experience with the hiring manager was disappointing. He joined the interview 7 minutes late, asked irrelevant questions like 'What do you know about infra?', and seemed more focused on himself than on my background or experience. He appeared confused about what he wanted to ask and struggled to articulate his questions. Unsurprisingly, I didn’t clear the final round, but in hindsight, I’m relieved—I wouldn’t want to work under someone so self-absorbed and dismissive.
