Interview
When I walked into my interview, I was with one other applicant. We met with the main store manager and she was really sweet. We went into a back stocking room for our interview. Before it started, we were asked to pick out one of the products that had some sort of special meaning to us to talk about during the interview. This was our first question. It was during the fall season, and I love pumpkin smells, so naturally, I grabbed something with that. I had a personal story about the fragrance and the manager loved that I had my own personal touches on it. I can't remember all of the questions, but there were some about how we'd handle certain situations and we talked a bit about prior experience. We even got a question about how we thought we could contribute to the company and how it functions. All in all, it was a smooth, quick and enjoyable interview.

Question 1
What do you think you can bring to this company to help it advance and grow?
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bath & Body Works
Interview
I was contacted by the manager directly to attend a group interview. The manager took us to the stock room, sat us down in a semi-circle and had a round-robin-style interview session. We were asked questions about how we would handle specific types of sales (especially to disinterested customers). The interview was very comfortable and the manager was great at setting everyone at ease.
After the interview, I was later contacted to come in for training. Some of my training included watching safety videos and learning about proper stock room techniques. I also had access to an enormous amount of literature concerning better sales techniques, product descriptions, and company history.

Question 1
"How would you sell this perfume (which had very bright top notes and a musky base) to a nurse?"
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bath & Body Works (New York, NY) in May 2011
Interview
The experience was very pleasant. It was a group interview the had five people including myself. The interview started on time and everything was set up for us before we began. The questions were about our perilous work experiences and about our feelings about customer service. The interviewer was attentive and made sure everyone got equal time to talk. Overall, if I wasn't hired, I would still have still believed my experience was positive.
