I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bath & Body Works in Sep 2012
Interview
Had a group interview for seasonal sales associate positions. There were 3 or 4 other interviewees and we were interviewed before the store opened for the day. Manager asked each of us the same questions and there were maybe 8-10 questions total. None of the questions were incredibly hard-was totally prepared beforehand from reviewing info already on glassdoor.com.

Interview
I went in on a day when it was very dead in the store and asked for an application. I turned it in a few days later, and a few days after that, I got a call for the interview. I showed up between 10-15 minutes early, and was told by another associate that the manager was on her break and would be out shortly. Within the next few minutes, three other interviewees came in and were told the same thing. Soon after, the hiring manager came out and asked us to pick out our favorite product, and told us that we would be advertising it to her (I picked Sweet Pea hand lotion). Overall it was a very easy interview that lasted no more than 20 minutes. Very friendly environment. I am still in high school and had no job experience before I applied there. I start this Friday and I am very excited!! :)
