I applied online & they got back to me a day later. Initially, the process was fast and smooth. The hiring manager was an inspiring individual! After 5th round of interviews (2 with HR & 3 with the businesses) they went silent for a bit. I reached out to the hiring manager who apologized; said he was busy lately & informed me that he wanted me to have 2 more interviews. He asked me to send my availability to the recruiter - which I did. The recruiter acknowledged my availability & said that she would get back to me with meeting invites. They went silent again & over next few weeks I followed up a few times, but no one responded at all. It was clear that they had moved in a different direction. Instead of ignoring me, it would have been professional if they took 30 sec out of their schedule to be upfront with me and tell me that they moved on.
