The process took 9 months. I interviewed at Blizzard Entertainment
Interview
I had interviewed with Blizzard a few times before so I was aware of their very long process. However, they outshined themselves by dragging it on for almost 9 months. Mind you the company recruiter contacted me first about potential opportunities. I was also told that the lead from xyz team really loved my portfolio. I was then passed around to different recruiters who promised different things and told me to wait just a bit longer. So, 9 months later I was still waiting for something I did even know what at that point. Some of the recruiters would also then ghost me if I emailed them asking whether I was passed on or there was going to be another interview round. Needless to say, this experience was a nightmare and felt very disrespectful of my time. This certainly doesn't inspire me to want to apply again.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I only ever spoke to recruiters that asked the same typical questions about your background and why you wanted to join Blizzard.
Friendly interview discussing the company and role they are looking for. Discussed WoW, Diablo, Overwatch and Call of Duty. They said they would get back in a week or two after the initial interview.
Very quick and transparent. After the initial screening call I was kept up to date with where things were in the process. On boarding was very fast and efficient as well.

Interview
Strung me along for 6+ weeks only to change the position from remote to onsite after I passed the interview. Complete waste of everyone's time. Since the incompetent higher ups wanted to choose policy over talent, Blizzard's reputation and quality of their games will continue to suffer. No one wants to ever relocate to expensive and soulless Irvine just to be laid off a year later.
