I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Tóquio) in Oct 2018
Interview
Interviewed with senior reporter, then took a writing exam that tested my ability to synthesize information and structure news articles. The interviewer was very friendly and asked questions relevant to the internship (not some of those weird off-the-wall questions you sometimes get).
Video Interview where you were given around 10 questions and made to answer in Japanese or English and given 1 minute to record yourself. Was able to retry for some questions. Was given 30 second preparation time
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg in Feb 2021
Interview
The interview process began with a Hirevue. Then, the Superday consisted of behavioral and technical interviews. One interview went over process re-engineering, which is hard to prepare for, but make sure you ask clarifying questions and communicate with the interviewer. Another interview consisted of a multiple choice technical assessment. There was a behavioral interview as well, make sure you have stories related to customer service experience/skills and collaborating with people. After the Superday, there was a final behavioral interview.
