Interview
It was an efficient well executed interview process. They communicated well with me and gave me realistic timelines that they stuck too. They also referred me to another position that I'd be more suited for.

Interview
The interview process at Boomi started off well—recruiter communication was prompt and clear, and I was genuinely excited about the opportunity. However, my experience during the first round technical interview with the hiring manager left me disappointed.
While I understand technical interviews can be challenging, I didn’t expect the abrupt shift in tone once I wasn’t sure about the answer to a particular question. The interviewer began to appear visibly impatient and disengaged, which made it difficult to regain confidence during the rest of the session.
Additionally, the coding platform provided for the interview was unstable. I had to spend unnecessary time configuring the environment, which further disrupted the flow and added avoidable stress to an already high-pressure situation.

coding question in JS: write a function to flatten a nested array
First call with recruiter (she was very responsive and kept me up to date), second call with hiring manager (from what she said at the end of the call, I should have known not to waste my time, she really just wanted options) and then final call with the field marketing team (it was three members and they were lovely). My advice - Please if you know someone isn't the right fit from the get-go, please don't waste their time and lead them to believe they have a chance to get the role. As job seekers, we go through enough and spend hours prepping for an interview and do not deserve to be receiving such treatment. Do better!
