I applied for the job at 10 am and received a rejection email four hours later. It was very odd but I chalk it up to the company looking for specifications that I just don’t have. I do wonder how competitive an applicant must be when the posting only asks for you to have 1 year of work experience, including internships. Even with a MA degree, FT work and internships under my belt, it seems like they want candidates who have some experience in government or politics. I also wasn’t offered any feedback on why my application was rejected so swiftly, that quick turn around was rather unusual.

Question 1
Wasn't able to get an beyond an application submission.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (Washington, DC) in Jun 2019
Interview
Had one phone screen, two phone interviews, and one on-site interview.
The process was quick, and the interviewers were nice.
However, it seemed like they just wanted to interview me for the sake of interviewing me. There was no description of what exactly they wanted to hire me for. They also wanted to hire me for significantly less than what I currently, which made no sense to me.

I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (Williamsburg, VA) in Oct 2019

I had a 2 day round style interview with current members of the staff. Day one was more focused on my experiences in the workforce already and then day 2 was more specific to Booz.
