Call with recruiter and then paired to a manager looking for similar skills I had. Standard resume based questions. Nothing very formal or formatted. Both interviews were about 30 min each
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about your experience listed on your resume
No feedback. I got the impression that it was a great interview. I guess I was wrong. I would advise being cautiously optimistic no matter how good you feel after your interview.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (McLean, VA) in Nov 2024
Interview
A recruiter emailed me for a Cost Analyst position that I had not applied for. After an initial phone screen with the recruiter, we agreed that it was a good fit. I applied and was swiftly scheduled for an interview with the hiring manager, which went well. Two weeks later I was scheduled for an interview with two potential colleagues, which also went well. A few days later I was asked to provide availability for the 3rd and final interview, which I provided, and then radio silence...
After a week I called/emailed the recruiter, nothing, no response. Again after 2 weeks. Now after almost 3 weeks of no response, I thought to log on to workday site again to check my status for the position to find out that I was no longer being considered for the role.
Very unprofessional provided that I was approached for the role. Not even a "regret to inform you" email or any feedback whatsoever.
In future I'd hope they'd either shorten there interview process or at least provide some kind of feedback instead of wasting candidates time.
