I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton in Nov 2008
Interview
I was referred to Booz Allen through a friend that works there. He submitted my resume to his team and within a few days I was contacted by a recruiter. The recruiter asked basic questions about my background and gave me a general overview of what to expect at the interview.
My interview lasted two and a half hours. I was interviewed one-at-a-time by a group of five people, with each person being given approximately 30 minutes. These were all people that either worked on the team I would be on, or frequently worked with members of the team. Some of them asked specific questions about my background and how I would handle certain situations, and some of them asked more social questions to try to gauge my personality and how I would fit in. Overall it was a fairly stressful, but good, interview experience.

Question 1
Do you get easily overwhelmed when asked to multitask, and how do you handle keeping tack of multiple projects/clients?
I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton in Nov 2009
Interview
The college recruiter for this company was horrible. He took forever getting back to me, and when he finally did reach me, never gave adequate information. Once I was finally able to set up an interview, I showed up to find 50 other potential employees waiting for their interviews. We were separated into large groups of about 25 each and brought into a room to get a briefing on the interview process and the department with which we were interviewing. After that, the group was split in half and my group of 12 was brought into a room with 12 interviewers at 12 tables. All of us were interviewed individually but in the same room, and then switched tables to receive a second interview. Overall, the process felt more like the company was herding cattle instead of trying to find potential employees.

Give an example of a challenge or difficulty you've had to overcome and explain how you were able to overcome it.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton in Feb 2010
Interview
Interview process was very straight forward. I was contacted by a team member to set up a phone screen. We spoke for ~45 minutes with typical interview type questions (background, experiences, how would you approach this situation...etc.). The team member recommended in person interviews, which took a few weeks to put together. Interviewed individually with 4 team members + 1 HR. No difficult questions, although the interviews were only scheduled for 1/2 hour each, which felt a little too brief. People were great (to be expected from BAH), HR very responsive and professional. Disappointed I did not receive an offer but hopefully will have another chance soon!
