I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (McLean, VA) in Jan 2008
Interview
interview process was very straight forward, consisted of phone screen interview with recruiter, and a speed dating style interview with three people randing from senior consultant to senior associate. phone screen was standard - why do you want to work for booz allen. in person questions were largely beh type - give me an example of this or that.

Question 1
give me an example of personal failure, what happened what did you do
The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (Washington, DC) in Nov 2009
Interview
I have had multiple interactions with BAH - a campus 1:1, a brief phone interview, etc...Yet, no real movement has occurred on my application. Since I have a Ph.D, not an MBA, the initial excuse was that they were filling analyst roles, then staffing subject matter expert roles (which I guess would be why they want a specialist in biotechnology like me) . However, most interactions have been on my initiative, and they have missed multiple deadlines (made by the contact) to schedule a site visit, etc. This has been going on since October 2009 (and my contact blamed the particular recruiter assigned to my region/degree background). Nearly everyone I know that was contacted in October experienced no follow-up by the company and has accepted other offers - including me.

Question 1
Why do you want to leave research and become a consultant?
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (McLean, VA) in Nov 2009
Interview
I was contacted by a recruiter at an on-campus career fair and was encouraged to apply. Sent in resume and received an on-campus interview. About 4 weeks later they flew me out to McLean, VA for "Final Round - University Invitational Information Technology". Just as the previous reviewer mentioned, a presentation by a manager and then two one-on-one interviews, one being "behavioral" and the other "technical". The technical wasn't really technical, just going over my experience and skills listed on the resume.
We were told that the process would take 2-3 weeks for final offers. After the 3 weeks I contacted the company and was told the same as the previous interviewee...that the process is taking longer than expected. Received the same response every week, it has been 2 months since the interview date. While the actual interview seemed very positive, the lack of proper response has left an overall bad impression on me.
