I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (Seattle, WA) in Apr 2019
Interview
One initial HR phone call, which was basically a screening to judge my interest in the position. I then had a one hour interview with three software engineers. I was then contacted about a week afterwards with my offer.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (McLean, VA) in Feb 2019
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me after coming across my resume. I spoke with her on the phone for about 30 minutes for what I presume to be the initial phone screening. Afterwards, she signed me up for a hiring event in McLean. The hiring event consisted of a speed dating format of a series of interviews, the number depends on how many teams are interested in you. They give you a survey that you fill out with your preferred teams after the interviews.
The speed dating format can leave you a little winded, so be sure to keep on your toes. In my opinion the interviews were more so behavioral and weren’t the least bit technical. It was more of going through your resume and talking about the different things you’ve done. I was asked a little bit on Vcenter, datacenters, and some basic object oriented programming questions. Very high level and conceptual.
The interviews were okay and easy going. However I didn’t receive any feedback whatsoever afterwards even though I felt that they went well and reached out to the recruiters. So be mindful of that. They might not reach out afterwards. But all is fair in recruiting and job hunting. No hard feelings.

How would you create a two node datacenter using VCenter?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (San Diego, CA)
Interview
It was first a phone call with a recruiter where we went over positions and what I was interested in.
The in person interview itself was focused on your resume and the company. It was a very relaxed and laid back conversational interview. There was no white boarding.
