Interview
I got reached out by a recruiter because my resume was in their system for a different position I had applied for. The interview process was conducted in 3 stages. The first one was a call screening with the recruiter. Then moved on with the 2 user interviews. The whole process was smooth and all parties involved gave a crystal clear on to day to day work basis of this position. Unfortunately, after the final interview and asking for a follow-up, I was not what they were looking for.
The interviewers were kind, encouraging, and supportive during the interview process.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ByteDance (Singapura) in Nov 2021
Interview
I was approached by one of the recruiters on LinkedIn and applied for 2 internship positions on the careers website via referral.
After attempting the online coding test on HackerRank for the first internship position, I was ghosted without any feedback on whether my application has been rejected or considered for the next stage of interviews.
According to the careers website, my resume is still being screened for the second internship position, although the internship was supposed to start on 3rd Jan 2022.
Please don't waste our time by approaching us on LinkedIn if all you want to do is collect candidate data and ghost us later. We put in a tremendous amount of effort to secure internships.
Absolutely appalling and unprofessional recruitment process!
