I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cadence Design Systems (San Jose, CA) in Sep 2016
Interview
My interview process with Cadence was very smooth and a very positive interview experience overall. Everyone was very friendly and great to talk to. The process started with some phone calls, then led to an on-site interview out in San Jose, followed up by a couple other phone calls afterwards. The hiring manager kept in constant communication, so never left me wondering what was going on.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Cadence Design Systems (San Diego, CA) in Aug 2015
Interview
I was interviewed for AE role in California, had two telephonic interviews or 30 - 60mins and one live interview of 1 hour. Some questions were a little tricky but it was mostly general interviews to assess if I know the full PnR flow. They preferred that I knew scripting and my basics must have been sufficient for the PnR AE job. Salary negotiation took a little longer and they matched my current salary.
