I recently went through the interview process at Capital One, and I feel compelled to share my disheartening experience. Here's a breakdown of my interaction with this company: Case Study Call: After waiting over a month, I finally received an email for a case study call. The lack of communication during this time was frustrating. To add, I only had one day notice prior for the case study call. Hollow Gesture: After reaching out to HR for feedback, I did receive a call, but it was a hollow gesture. They told me they couldn't provide feedback due to "hiring process" constraints, which is incredibly disappointing. The HR also did not know where I was in the hiring process, stating I probably failed the interview because I did not practice the case study - even though I passed the case study. This proves that all candidates are just numbers to the company and you do not matter to them. In summary, my experience with Capital One's interview process has left me deeply disheartened and frustrated. They not only failed to provide me with valuable feedback but also gave the impression that they do not respect or value their candidates. I strongly advise against applying to Capital One if you expect respectful communication, a fair hiring process, and constructive feedback. This experience has left me with a lasting negative impression of the company, and I hope others can avoid such a disappointing journey.
