I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One (Plano, TX) in Mar 2011
Interview
Campus career center online drop box, interviews on campus (really simple case, but don't mess up the numbers!)
Heard that evening that I passed the first rounds, and was asked to take an online verbal/math test. Then was invited for interviews at their plano office. They flew us in, had a reception, and then shuttled from the NYLO to their office the next morning for a tour, 2 case interviews, and 1 behavioral. Do not mess up the math, try your best to understand the interviewers, and don't get flustered.
One negative thing is that the recruiter never answered any of the questions I had. In short, maintaining contact with CO was painful, and the interviewers were not polite.
1 online assessment followed by Power Day with 1 product and 2 cases. Power Day was quite tricky with concepts being combined and tested in different forms. Staying calm and taking in every word is crucial in keeping up with the casing.

Product: name 6 ways to improve a digital product of your choice
The interviewer was friendly he asked me Quantitative questions on a streaming platform, too much math involved. I did not reach the answer though the interviewer tried to help so got the rejection.

I thought I did really well, but they emailed me back in a few hours, rejecting me. This was for the online test before the power day, and they didn't even give me a score.
