I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Chipotle (Colorado Springs, CO) in Jan 2015
Interview
I applied online, got a call three days later to set up for an interview three days in the future. Five minutes before the interview time I went inside and waited in line before mentioning that I was there for an interview - didn't want to skip the people in the line. Was told to go sit down in a spot where one other person was seated, and after a 5-10 minute wait we moved to a larger table. General Manager greeted us and explained the large expectations of the staff. Mentioned the interviewing process, how they start off in group interviews and then slowly cut off people depending on whether or not everyone likes you. EVERYONE has to like you or else you will not get the job. Kind of intimidating. He then asked both of us the same questions which was a bit difficult as I was the second person to answer and the person next to me tended to answer in the manner I was planning to. After we were done he thanked us both and then we left.

Question 1
Tell me about yourself.
What do you do for fun?
Tell me about the last job you had. What was something negative and what was something positive?
If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would those be?
Why do you want to work for Chipotle specifically?
What are your questions for me?

Interview
The interview process was easy enough. I applied online to my location of choice and answered basic questions about what I was passionate about, why I would be a good addition to the Chipotle family, my ethnic background. Everything was online, including submission of my resume and references. I received a response a few weeks later from the Chipotle Hiring Team but was not offered the position.

Question 1
The most difficult question was probably the question of why I wanted to work at Chipotle, specifically.

Interview
The whole hiring process is really quick. I applied to a whole bunch in my area... New York City. I applied to around 6 or 7. I got an answer back from all of them within a week. They all scheduled an interview, but one location in particular personally called me to arrange a time. I went to one and they told me there were no interviews that day. I was discouraged and they were rude, but I knew that at 4:30 I had another interview scheduled. The one that had the wrong time didn't even tell me when I should show up. I killed some time, went to my second interview. The second one I arrived pretty early and bought chips and guac. My interviewer approached me, he was the manager i believe. He greeted me and said tell me about yourself, three things to describe you, why chipotle, and just more basic information about myself. Those were the only questions asked, but we were having a conversation. It felt extremely casual. I was lucky that it was not a group interview. At the end of my interview he said there were 350 applicants, but that I shouldn't be worried and he'd get back to me soon. But here's the thing. I saw another guy who got interviewed before me get interviewed a second time by someone else... so I got a little worried and I told him. My first interviewer said it wasn't mandated but I could talk to him too. We just had a casual conversation and he told me not to be worried as well and not to apply to other chipotles. Three days later I got a call saying I got the job!! Then its the whole actual hiring process that takes a little longer. You know the whole background check and all, but overall it was really cool.

Question 1
Three words to describe yourself. It was hard because of the 13 characteristics, you want to choose "the right ones"... I'd say don't steer far from the 13 characteristics.
