I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Chipotle (Toronto, ON) in Jun 2010
Interview
They asked me about my personality, work experience, likes, if I knew about the company. If I have ever tried a burrito. If I wanted to become manager in the near future. What kind of food was my favorite. If I was married, if I was pregnant, my age, my nationality, my native language, for how long I was in Canada, my migratory status.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Chipotle (Denver, CO) in Oct 2011
Interview
A total bait and switch! I came in for a "manager" interview and was told that everyone starts on the food line, making $8/hour. The lady told me that with two promotions I could be an assistant manager... so it actually WAS a management position! Looking for work is difficult today, so completely wasting my time and theirs is lame. If you think you're going to a management interview, you might want to just stay home.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Chipotle in Sep 2011
Interview
If you ever wanted to know how some of these idiots you see got the job that they have, I am a first-hand witness. I went in to interview at Chipotle. There were probably 5-6 other candidates there waiting to be interviewed. All of them were wearing grungy street clothes and didn't look one bit enthused to be there. I tried to strike up a conversation with a couple of them, but they weren't talkative at all.
I thought my interview went fairly well and I even called back the next day to thank the interviewer for giving me his time, something that probably no other candidate did. Well, I didn't end up getting the job, which means that one of those other dead beats got it. I hope Chipotle enjoys a lot of employee turn over...
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
"We're looking for people who have the potential of becoming management. Is this something that you're interested in?"
They really focus on their "Food With Integrity" slogan, so make sure you know as much as possible about Chipotle and how they use natural, fresh foods.
