I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Databricks (Amsterdã) in Jul 2022
Interview
Applied online through the website and got reached by a recruiter. Went through a filter with the recruiter and then a technical phone screen, then onsite virtual interviews The interviews were rigorous that tested development knowledge. The interviewer is professional and guides you through. Recuirter is really helpful. Follow up on updates quickly. Got the results a few days after the last interview. Unfortunately, got rejected and got some additional feedback. The feedback was informative. Even detailed feedback was not given, got directions on what to improve, and so on... It was for a junior role and the interviews were on essential data structure and algorithms
HR reached out the last year. Followed by 1 tech screen, passed and wait to this year for job openings, and then scheduled 5 rounds of virtual onsite. 2 coding, 1 behavior and 1 system design
1 round of hr phone screen, 3 rounds of tech interviews (coding plus system design), 1 round of behavior questions. HR phone screen: why databricks, perfer big tech or start ups, what's the factor when choosing offers.
