I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Definity
Interview
It was pretty easy, the interviewers (team leaders) first introduce the company and duties of the role. Then, just asked some simple behavioural questions about time management, problem solving etc.

Question 1
Tell me about a time that you have to handle multiple deadlines
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Definity in Jan 2025
Interview
I was invited for a phone and then Teams interview with an HR representative, which was short and straightforward. The interviewer asked basic questions and mentioned I would hear back the following week. After a week and a half with no response, I followed up politely, but received no reply. One month later, still nothing.
If you’ve decided not to move forward with a candidate, that's completely fine, zero offence taken! But it's only professional to respond, whether it's a rejection or an update, especially after a a second round interview. It's incredibly unprofessional for a company of this size to ghost candidates in the middle of the interview process. I wouldn’t be leaving this review if I hadn’t already been interviewed.
While I understand the challenges of responding to every application, it’s essential for companies to honor their commitments and provide a response to candidates they've interviewed. A simple “we’re experiencing delays” or a clear answer—yes or no—would show respect and accountability.

Question 1
Why choose Definity? Why are you leaving your current job?
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Definity (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2025
Interview
The interview process involves three rounds - initial HR screening, behavioral and technical round with Director and another manager on the team and a final round with the VP. I didn't go past the second round. The final round is again mostly behavioral.
