I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Duo Security (Ann Arbor, MI)
Interview
I was contacted by Nate for a pre-screening phone call. I moved on to separate phone interviews with two ladies on the team. The three people I spoke with made the interview process incredibly easy—they shared available times, scheduled them via Google Calendar, and that was it! Each of the three people I spoke with called me exactly on time; I didn't have to wait.
It was a pleasure speaking with all three team members and learning more about Duo Security. It seems like an amazing, up-and-coming company and ultimately I'm disappointed that I wasn't offered a job. They were very transparent with me, however, and let me know there were a few candidates with more of the experience they were looking for. When I received my "Let's Keep in Touch" e-mail, it was very professional but kind and made me feel a little better about not receiving an offer. I'm hopeful that something with Duo that's a better fit for my skills may open up in the future. Overall a great experience!

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Duo Security (Londres, Inglaterra) in Jan 2018
Interview
A 3 stage interview process, spoke with 4 different people from the business. These ranged from a call with the Recruitment Manager in the US, then a colleague who is currently conducting and covering this role, met the UK sales manager and VP of sales.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Duo Security
Interview
My call with the recruiter was pleasant, she was forthcoming and transparent and truly passionate about the company. She stated that if there wasn't budget heading into the new year for the role, she felt my experience warranted moving budget forward for. I was extremely excited!
My 2nd interview was on site and spilled an additional 30 minutes over our time slot as the conversation was flowing and I was receiving positive feedback. I used my "Command of the Message" training throughout and discussed building champions internally and externally and made sure to address the 1 hesitation upfront to be able to move to the next step. We ended the meeting to plan for a call from the recruiter the next day to schedule my interview with the RVP.
To my surprise, I got a rejection email from the recruiter the next day instead of the "next step" email I was expecting. The reasons being were not what we discussed in the meeting, and frankly, seemed out of context.
I emailed the hiring manager to ask for feedback, and I received no response.
Very unprofessional by setting next steps and unable to respond to an email asking how I could do better. I feel I dodged a bullet as this would have been the type of manager who tells you to your face you're doing great and stabs you in the back.
In my opinion this is not a reflection on Duo as a company and only the individual.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm very sorry to hear that it was not the experience that both you I were hoping for!
While you gave some great details above on what happened, I welcome you to reach out directly to me (Nate@Duo.com), to go into further detail so I can fully understand how to coach our internal teams so we avoid this kind of experience moving forward.
Thank you again for your time, and we wish you all the best moving forward!
