I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at EPAM Systems in Nov 2021
Interview
3 steps - HR call, technical interview and business interview. Technical call was challenging and one of the best during my experience. It really checked my knowledge and verified if I was using it on my daily actions. After last call fast decision about further steps.

Interview
1. Technical
2. Managerial (most probably RM)
3. Project fitment
The job title and what they exactly looking for are quite misaligned. They seem to have committed to a certain timeline for a project that involves Mainframe migration.
They need a mainframes engineer... instead of hiring one who can actually help them with code reviews and COBOL reverse engineering as they call it, they are hiring business analysts and trying to get this done under pressure. HR is inefficient and doesn't have a voice, just does what the hiring manager says.

Question 1
COBOL reverse engineering that they are really struggling with.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at EPAM Systems (Colombia) in Nov 2025
Interview
I had 2 interviews. The recruiter reached out via Whatsapp and said they were ready to start the "staffing process". I asked for an official email but she ignored me completely. Also sent an email asking about an update about my application and got no response at all. Strange way of communication and complete ignorance. I thought EPAM was a way more serious company...So disappointed:((((
