Applied online and was called for a phone interview. That was pleasant. I was told I would hear back about the status within a week or two. I never heard back. I have talked to other people that have applied for jobs at Electrolux and it is a practice to not follow up. I think this does provide a negative impact on the public and how the company operates when there is no follow up. This is true for external and internal employees.
