I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Enterprise Mobility in Nov 2024
Interview
I applied online and received a follow-up email the same day to schedule and pick a date and time for a Zoom interview with a recruiter. There was no phone screen. I scheduled the Zoom meeting a few days later.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The initial questions begin with "Are you able to work the hours and 46 hours weekly", also is the salary within your range? After that, it's "tell me about yourself, literally every question is about sales, quotas, closing sales, etc.. What's your sales background? How competitive are you when it comes to closing a sale, give examples. How do you handle an upset or frustrated customer? Tell me how you tried to upsell a customer. What sales metric have you used to measure success? How have you handled another co-worker who underperformed on your team? How do you handle miscommunication with an upset customer? Where do you see yourself in the future with the company? I believe I was asked at least ten or more different questions in all. It also takes anywhere from 9-12 months to move up from the management trainee and that's solely based on "performance =sales. I found the interview process rather interesting because I rented cars from Enterprise numerous times, and no one ever tried to sell, or upsell me anything except maybe their damage waiver, and I said no thanks and that was it. Lol. I also think the interview process is very different depending on what area you interview for. I had a completely different experience versus some other candidates who interviewed for the same role. After the Zoom call, the recruiter said he would evaluate my answers and let me know next steps in the process.
I interviewed at Enterprise Mobility (Toronto, ON)
Interview
More conversational than a typical interview style making it much more in depth and interesting. As a candidate you also get to know how the person across you made it to where they are now, using the same trainings you would eventually learn.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What would you do differently than other potential candidates to become an amazing MT.
It was an average difficulty interview with the most standard, basic questions. The interviewer had a deadpan, annoyed face and looked and sounded like she didn't want to be there. I didn't prepare for it and didn't pass, but I don't think most people will have a problem if they just prepare beforehand
Over the phone, Called me from a headhunter and talked about the role and asked if i was interested, then a 30 minute conversation with a recruiter at the branch to see if i was a fit, then in person
