Epic Games Senior Web Engineer interview questions

Applied through employee referral. Third party contractor reached out and scheduled hiring manager interview. Interview was basic, albeit non-technical. Included the teams director who joined the video call and literally said nothing the entire call. Just waved and never said hello or goodbye. This was very strange. Moved to next step which was a takehome assignment which took roughly 2-3 hours. Completed every task but never received any feedback. Received generic rejection email after one week. Recruiter never responded.
